Ambassador Gao Yanping met with Director General of the Ministry of Public Security of the State of Israel

On October 31st, Ambassador Gao Yanping met with Mr. Rotem Peleg, Director General of the Ministry of Public Security of the State of Israel. Mr. Yang Yonghong, Director of Political Section of the Embassy of China, and Mr. Elizer Rozenbaum, Deputy Director General, Mr. Udi Salvi, Minister's Chief of Staff, Mr. Natan Rotenberg, Director of International Relations Department, were present.

Ambassador Gao highly praised the long time cooperation on law enforcement and police cooperation between the Chinese Ministry of Public Security and Israeli Ministry of Public Security, stressed that cooperation on law enforcement played an important part in Sino-Israel relations. Ambassador Gao hoped that China and Israel could strengthen mutual communication and cooperation, which serves not only the interests of peoples of two countries, but also peace and stability of the whole region.

Mr. Rotem Peleg said the Ministry of Public Security of the State of Israel paid great attention to the friendly cooperation with its Chinese counterparts, hoping the two countries could strengthen law enforcement and police cooperation, including cooperation in the scope of law enforcement, counter terrorism, emergency management and capability building, which would make contribution to the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.
