Former Israeli Ambassadors to China Celebrate 20th Anniversary of Sino-Israeli Relations

On 18th January 2012, Ambassador Gao invited former Israeli ambassadors to China to her residence for celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Sino-Israeli relations and Chinese Spring Festival. Ambassador (Ret.) Mr. Emmanuel Suffott, Ambassador (Ret.) Mr. and Mrs. Moshe Ben-Yaacov, Ambassador (Ret.) Mrs. Ora Namir, Ambassador (Ret.) Mr. and Mrs. Itzhak Shelef, Ambassador (Ret.) Mr. and Mrs. Yehoyada Chaim were present. Mr. Shi Yong, DCM of the Embassy, and Mr. Dai Yuming, Political Counselor of the Embassy among others were present.

Ambassador Gao with 5 former Israeli ambassadors to China

Ambassador Gao expressed her gratitude to 5 former Israeli ambassadors for their contribution to Sino-Israeli relations. Ambassador Gao said, since the diplomatic relations between China and Israel established 20 years ago, mutual understanding and trust had been enhanced and deepened, and exchanges and co-operation in varied fields had been fruitful, bringing benefits to both peoples. Facing an important historical opportunity for bilateral relations, it's hoped that under the joint efforts of two governments and peoples, the bilateral relations and pragmatic co-operation in various fields could be elevated to a new level, making contribution to the world peace and regional stability and development. Ambassador Gao wished 5 former Israeli ambassadors a happy new year of dragon and good health, playing positive roles in promoting the stable and healthy bilateral relations.

5 former Israeli ambassadors to China congratulated the 20th anniversary of Sino-Israeli relations, recalled with joy their life and work experience in China and praised the great achievements China have made in recent years. They expressed their happiness and pride for the achievements made during the past 20 years and looking forward to a better future of Sino-Israeli relations.
