On April 21st, Ambassador Cai Run presented Letter of Credence to President Reuven Rivlin at the President's Residence.

President Rivlin noted that the friendship between the Jewish and Chinese people dates back to thousands of years ago. Israel-China relations developed positively with cooperation outcomes in various fields. Next year will mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Israel and China, the Israeli side would like to make more efforts to further develop Israel-China relationship.

Ambassador Cai conveyed President Xi Jinping's cordial greetings and best wishes to President Rivlin. Ambassador Cai noted that the Chinese and Jewish people enjoy time-honored friendship that continues to flourish.

Ambassador Cai pledged that he will work with friends in China and Israel to implement the important consensus reached between leaders of the two countries and to promote China-Israel Innovative Comprehensive Partnership even further.

Ambassador Cai arrived in Israel on January 22nd, 2021. He is the ninth Chinese Ambassador to the State of Israel.
